Great day of racing yesterday! We won the King Kong Runoff and brought home the coveted 5’ 2” King Kong trophy - second time I’ve been able to win this elusive trophy. Only raced once a year at Firebird Raceway. 5th win of the season and we’re winding down to just two weekends left in the season.

I also managed to hang on to 3rd in the Pro ET points standings. So overall, a great 2026 season.

My Katy, has been out most of the season due to a herniated disc. Got cleared this last week to race and rips off a .000 perfect light in her first pass since the spring. 😍

Spokane debrief - What a couple of weeks! 😵‍💫

A “weather-challenged” ET Finals followed by an absolutely insane West Coast Bracket Races inaugural Northwest Classic… nothing humbles a race car driver more than back to back events like these. Absolute field full of killer sharks!

I came in fresh off a win and got humbled pretty quickly… my car was stellar, I have great engines from Kidd Performance and Dyno (congrats to Mark Kidd for a dominating performance) and great transmissions from McLean (thank you John).

We handed out some ass-whippings and received some ass whippings. My friend Albert and I discussed this in between rounds, “why do we do it?” The answer is simple - no better high than turning on that win light in the final round. It’s even better to get the sponsors in the winner circle!

Thank you to my Katy for going on the marathon with me. Blessed to have my crew chief back.

Now to close out the season - time to focus on a strong finish, especially in Pro ET.

After a lackluster performance at the NHRA Division 6 Finals, we are finding some mojo (and good weather) at the West Coast Bracket Races. Had a great first day Thursday, a great start to today, and have our Pro Bonus race later this evening. Just gotta keep eye of the tiger!

We got it done again in the Club Challenge Series last night. Our team went on absolute kill mode last night and closed out the season finale with our 8th championship. Congrats to all of our team racers and especially Connor New for getting the “W” in his bracket.

This is great momentum as we head up to Spokane for the Summit Racing Series Division 6 ET Finals.

Of course, it’s always extra special to have my beautiful wife and son in the winner circle with me! My son had his best season ever and turned on some win lights last night. Love you bud!
