Welp, the good folks have a solution for all your racing needs. Bottom line they want everyone to race their fastest. The Chain Smoker course is designed to give the climber and the downhiller a chance of winning. If your are good at both or extra strong in one or the other you're going to rip! Here's some advice from the world famous coach Jason Tullous from

"Everyone passes and gets passed at some point and it's best to be prepared to be passed or to pass. First if you are passing alert the rider being passed in a courteous manner like, "Hi. How's it going? I would like to pass when you see a safe spot to pull over." The person being passed should remain calm and look for the first point to slow and move over. The passer should then calmly pass and wish them a good ride." - Jason T.

"Tips" are back!!! Just In time. The amazing trainers and bike gurus have partnered again to help you make your race a success.

This weeks tip:

Carbs are your best friend for riding fast. For races less than 3hrs, aim for 60g per hour at least. For races more than 3hrs, aim for 60-90g per hour and push yourself closer to 90 than 60. Always experiment in your training so you are confident on race day that your plan works. When increasing carbs, try to increase by 10g per week. For example: Week 1-60g/hr, Week 2 -70g/hr, Week 3 -80g/hr, etc...
