What do you do when your robot is 4lbs overweight 5 days away from the event? You order from . I was in a panic Friday evening. I designed up some new parts and I had a notification the next morning the parts were in production. Tuesday morning I had parts in hand.
We are 5 days away from BattleBots ProLeague. We now pivot from focusing on our side robot Jackpot and start focusing on the scariest BattleBots ACE! Ace this time around was only made possible by and spoolhaus. Ace will be a menace this year.

Behind the scenes, a substantial amount of work goes into preparing robots for testing, including a meticulous pre-testing preparation process. Chemical rust removal is a notably satisfying procedure, where larger parts are manually ground to remove rust, whereas smaller components are immersed in acid for a duration of three hours, after which the rust easily falls off with a wire brush.
