The students in the manufacturing and engineering programs here at Cimarron-Memorial and FRC team 987 The High Rollers

High School, wanted to send out a massive thank you for all the encouragement you’ve

shown us. Receiving the 2026 Gene Haas Advanced Manufacturing Lab grant is an incredible

opportunity for us, but seeing how much the community stands behind us makes it feel even

more special.

Sometimes, people think high school is just about textbooks and tests, but for those of us in

the lab, it’s about getting our hands dirty, solving problems, and building the future. Your kind

words and support remind us that the work we are doing matters outside the classroom

walls.

We promise to put this investment to good use. We’re ready to work harder, innovate faster,

and show everyone what Cimarron-Memorial students are capable of when they have the

right tools and a supportive community in their corner.

Thank you for cheering us on and for believing in the Class of 2026 and beyond. We can’t wait

to show you what we build next!

With Spartan Pride,

The Students of Cimarron-Memorial High School

Advanced Manufacturing Program

🏆 2026 Las Vegas Regional Champions, #25 Regional win!

After underperforming at our first regional of the 2026 season, we came back to Las Vegas with something to prove. The team locked in, put the work in, and showed up strong. We finished qualification rounds 12-3-0, seeded 3rd heading into alliance selection.

Congratulations to our alliance captain, Team 7426 Pair of Dice Robotics ( ), for selecting us and Team 1165 Team Paradise (.1165 )to run alongside them. Pair of Dice went completely undefeated throughout the entire competition from qualifications through the finals and that level of dominance deserves to be recognized. It was amazing competing alongside both of you, and we’re grateful for the trust you placed in us.

We’re also proud to have brought home the 🎨 Creativity Award sponsored by Rockwell Automation. This award reflects the ingenuity and effort this team pours into every design decision, and it’s a testament to what happens when students are given the tools and space to think differently.

A very well deserved congratulations to our mentor, Mr. Rogers, for receiving the Volunteer of the Year Award. Mr. Rogers is someone who gives endlessly to this team and to this community, quietly, consistently, and without needing recognition. We are proud of you!
Thank you to FIRST Nevada for hosting an incredible event and for continuing to provide opportunities like this for students across the region. And a huge thank you to the judges and volunteers who gave their time to make this competition possible. None of this happens without you, and your dedication to this program does not go unnoticed.

Thank you to our sponsors, Steven and Susan Philpott and the Gene Haas Foundation. Your belief in and commitment to this team year after year is what allows us to keep showing up, keep building, and keep growing. We don’t take that for granted.

FIRST has always been about more than the robot. It’s about discovery pushing past what you think is possible. It’s about inclusion, teamwork, and impact that extends far beyond the competition floor. This team lives those values every day. 🎲⚡

We are so proud of the effort our team put in and we’re incredibly grateful for the people we got to share the field with. ☺️

We give a special thank you to our alliance partners, Team 2486 CocoNuts ( )and Team 4731 MONARCH-E ( ) Your leadership, skill, and energy made competing alongside you an absolute privilege. We couldn’t have asked for better teammates. 🫶

And to the winning alliance Team 7426 Pair of Dice Robotics ( ), Team 2122 Team Tators ( ), and Team 7755 Phantom Circuits ( ), congratulations. You earned every bit of it. Your performance was a reminder of what dedication and teamwork truly look like at their best. Well deserved. ❤️

We are also deeply honored to have received the Excellence in Engineering Award. A sincere thank you to the judges for recognizing our work. This award means a great deal to us and is a reflection of the hard work and dedication our entire team has poured into this season. 😊

This is what FIRST Robotics is all about. We leave more inspired than ever and can’t wait for what’s next. Until next time. 🌹
