50 Special Moments in WI's Proud Wrestling History

We continue our series of 50 special moments in WI's proud wrestling history as we prepare for the 50th anniversary celebration of the George Martin Wrestling Hall of Fame Nov. 6th in WI Dells. Next up is the 2026 D2 Team Wrestling State Champions Evansville Wrestling. The Team won their school's first-ever Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Team State Championship in March of 2026, as the Blue Devils secured the historic title at the La Crosse Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin, defeating Saint Croix Falls 38–32 in the semifinals and Coleman 39–29 in the championship match (Photo credit-WIAA).
