Push/Pull - Chest and Back Day


Incline Bench Press
DB one arm row

DB one arm chest press
Supine Row Overhand *

Dumbbell Pullover*
Incline Push-ups *

These exercises are grouped as four supersets. The push pull method is a nice change up to the standard chest day, back day, shoulder day, etc. Most of the workouts can be structured to be more of a circuit. Effective, intense and time efficient.

I like to add a compound, explosive movement like wall balls to my clients push days.

Not only do they increase your heart rate but they also help you build explosiveness.

Wall balls work your quads, glutes, hamstrings, abs, chest, shoulders, triceps, lats and spinal erectors. Not all of these muscles are prime movers, but they are the muscles bearing the workload.
