We got motor in and buttoned up on the #1611 car, only to notice the motor wasnt idling right and so we pulled carb and sent off to Bill Shapley to get rebuilt only to find a jet heavily clogged. Bill got her all cleaned up and once the motor had fuel again she fired right up and sounded extra crispy 🥰! Her valves will get adjusted before qualifying and we will be ready for battle! The was a fun race! Got some awesome seat time in my new to me penhall 2/1600. Was my first race having .arciero3 ride with me so that made it very special. Had a decent first race on the 20 mile track till I had throttle cable issues on lap 5. Lost about 10 min fixing then decided to do a driver swap when we got to pits so could get some seat time. We were pretty much the last finisher of race 1. I got back in car for second race and ended up smoking a cv and trans on lap 3 lol.
I actually lead the first because the fast guys took the joker first lap 🤣. I went into the joker the second lap and took my time, when they said we'd be stuck there all day if something happened I didn't want to spend the day back there. So took my time. Got passed by 1 16 car at pace the first race, same as second. Was definitely a learning opportunity for us. Learned what my fuel mileage is, learned I need to either get a new GPS or figure out where the overlay for mph is on the 840 Baja global lol. I wasnt sure if I was doing 30 or 60 down main pit 🤷♂️. We accomplished 95% of what we set out to do, got good seat time, good experience, showed some pace, just didn't get finish. And yea my old truck was definitely alot more cushy lol. Love it though! Will have car ready for Rage and will be on a weight loss program leading up to it. .inc built shocks worked awesome and want to thank for all the support and best pit captain i know.

Test/seat time #1 was for the most part a successful one. felt like he was able to get up to speed pretty quick and looking at getting faster with more seat time. .arciero3 got some seat time learning how to drive a stick, stalled a few times but picked up pretty good and is also excited with more seat time. was supposed to get seat time but while him and I were screaming up we smacked a rock that sent us for a very uncomfortable ride to say the least lol but when the right rear hit the ground it must have pinched the tube because the tire started leaking badly from valve stem. We will be ready for the more thank you to Sam and Ryder for pit support. #1611
