I have the greatest pleasure when I get a phone call, a text or an email from a former student sharing where they are or what they are doing now.

That being said, if I’ve ever had the pleasure of coaching or teaching or training you in any of those capacities - Thank you for making me a better instructor, a better communicator, a better influencer a better person all the way around.

Although I’ve been super busy, I’ve enjoyed these first few weeks of school back in the classroom. I hope to keep improving my craft in this profession. God is so good.

Finally getting out in Chocolate City

Tough day in the Herd House today. We had to put one of our family pets down after 11 wonderful years. . . My fur baby Brittany (the little one) is gone. Many of you all know, before my birth baby (Izabela), Brock and Brittany were my only children. It’s been rough, especially for Izabela. Pray for us.

I wish I could thank my 3rd grade teachers Ms. Fowbo and Ms. Starks from Kelly Elementary in Pittsburgh, PA. They believed in me when I didn't quite believe in myself. I’d NEVER IMAGINED I’d dedicate my life to the teaching profession.
