General information
Awaken:
You've just finished sunday school, or maybe you were always too cool for sunday school, either way we hope your Jr. High schedule has left your Thursday nights free. Awaken confirmation is a youth-centered, eye-opening experience that will awaken you to the ways God has been and is working in your life. Come enjoy worship with your friends, delve into discussion with your small group, and begin to grow in your faith. Join us every thursday for fun, fellowship, and worship as you meet new people and enjoy the freedom of being yourself, and maybe even drinking coke through a sock. :D
Awaken is geared toward students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades and it costs nothing to join. For more information contact Natalee Graham.
theResurgence:
Imagine the smell of bacon. If you enjoy it, great, but if not, that is even better, because it has nothing to do with Resurgence. Whether you attended confirmation or not, theResurgence is a group that will help to develope a core belief system in the Christian faith, as well as give you the tools to begin applying these beliefs and guidelines to your daily life. Delve into discussion about like, life, and begin to discover the wonderful things God has planned for you. Develop your identity as a christian, experience worship, and nurture your faith through worship, fellowship, and perhaps some party time, all in the presence of your friends.
theResurgence is geared toward students in High School up to 22 years of age and costs nothing to join. For more information contact Jason Greene.
Adult Leaders:
Love kids? Love the idea that you don't have to take them home on a Thursday night after an energizing evening of fun, friends, and running around to "I Am Free" even more? Good, then you would be perfect as an Adult leader. Join us every Thursday for an exciting evening of learning about and experiencing the love of Christ. Enjoy the fellowship with other leaders as you help guide and shape the lives of the students. Work with Jr. High or Senior High students as a small group leader, a steady substitute, a retreat chaperone, or simply come and volunteer your time when you are available. We would love to have you!
