It was 4 years ago today boxing lost one of its greatest trainers & teachers the sport has ever known. Many champions were crowned and many lives were saved at the John Kronk Community Center. Rest In Peace Aaron "The Hawk" Pryor. One of the greatest champions in history, and the most dominant 140 pounder of his era! Emanuel Steward trained Pryor for his rematch with Alexis Arguello. A little known story is that the week of the fight Pryor had a very swollen and infected ear. Emanuel had him wearing a winter hat at all of the pre-fight functions right up until fight time.
