Hello Airsoft players old and new,

After 2 years of hard and exhaustive work, many meetings with setbacks, and plenty of money, I am happy to announce that the Stage 1 Vegas airsoft field will be ready to go very soon!
We are expecting the first game to be mid-February, and games will be held every week. The field is at the Bootleg Canyon detention basin in Boulder City. The reason I call it the Stage 1 field is that during my negotiations with Boulder City, I secured the agreement that if you, the players, pass the word and get the attendance numbers up on a regular basis, the city will grant us a larger, varied terrain permanent Stage 2 field. This means that I can build forward operating bases and other constructions.
For the moment there are restrictions on what can be put on the field, so I am going to be using cable reels, as used at LVPP, and will be able to dig some trenches and make some berms. Remember this is just stage 1. I want to make this, and the following Stage 2 field, something that the whole community gets involved in. I have already tried to consult with teams and individuals. So, if you have ideas for improvements, games or even want to try an ongoing story line style of play, then we shall give them a go!

The game fee has been set based on percentages and payments the city has agreed to, and the cost of essentials such as business licenses and insurance costs. The business licenses and insurance certificates are available for viewing at any game. With that in mind, we have still be able to keep cost to $20 per person. BBs must be Bio degradable, we will have G&G Bios available to purchase. My research and trials have found these are some of the best available. I am also happy to take suggestions.

So I have done everything I can and have Boulder City behind the community, giving Airsoft a chance to have a new home in the Vegas area, insured, 100% legal, backed by the city and it’s Chamber of Commerce.

Now it is up to you guys to show them that you want it! Remember the Stage 1 field is the proof of concept for the city. Tell your friends and get them involved! The quicker we get the numbers up the quicker I get to go back to the City and arrange the move to the Stage 2 field!
