If you’re feeling overstimulated, emotional, or just completely disoriented today, your nervous system is likely on absolute overdrive. You can’t think your way out of that heavy, scattered feeling—you have to physically guide your brain back to center.
This simple practice acts as an immediate ground wire for an overloaded mind.
By pressing your right index finger into your left palm and moving it slowly up and down, you are forcing your brain to coordinate your tactile touch with a micro-focused visual gaze. Looking down at your moving finger with your eyes just 1/10th open creates an internal anchor. It pulls your awareness away from the chaos in your head and locks it directly into the physical present moment.
The Practice:
Set up: Sit comfortably with a straight spine.
The Hand: Raise your left hand in front of you, palm flat, as if you’re about to clap. Do your best to keep these fingers straight.
The Movement: Place your right index finger at the center of your left palm. Apply firm pressure and slowly “walk” your finger up the center of the palm toward the tips of your middle and ring fingers, then back down.
The Gaze: Keep your eyes only 1/10th open, focusing your entire gaze on your finger as it moves.
Continue this steady, deliberate movement for 3 to 11 minutes.
You will feel the physical tension release as your emotional energy stabilizes. It’s a quick, potent way to shift out of survival mode and reclaim your focus.

Most of us spend our lives holding back our voices. We quiet ourselves down, filter our thoughts, or stay silent because we’ve been told we’re not good enough, or that our truth is safer left unsaid.

But your voice is your most potent medicine. When you chant, you aren’t performing—you are using the raw, physical vibration of your own body to heal yourself from the inside out.

On May 31st, we are gathering for The Mantra Sessions: Sound, Soul & Sacred Voice. I am so deeply honored to be sharing this space with MaĂ  (Mariana Sobol), who carried the lead vocals for Cirque du Soleil for 14 years. Together, we are creating a soft, welcoming place for you to finally meet the power of your own expression.

This isn’t about getting it right or hitting a perfect note. It’s about the joy of letting yourself be heard, exactly as you are. If you’ve been feeling disconnected, or if you just want to feel the profound peace that comes from chanting in community, please come. Your voice belongs in the room.

If you’ve been feeling easily triggered lately, you are definitely not the only one. Even if you stay away from the news or avoid the drama, there is an intense, heavy heat in the air right now that is impossible to ignore.

The mistake most people make is trying to suppress that frustration or pretend it isn’t there.

In Kundalini Yoga, we don’t fear the fire. We use it.

We aren’t here to stay angry, but we are also not here to play nice and spiritual while our boundaries get crossed. This practice is about taking that chaotic, irritated heat and channeling it through the grounding stability of Ta**us energy. We are turning the anger into the frequency of the “doer”—shifting you from a state of raw reaction into focused power.

You need that heat right now. You need it to build the warrior, the architect, and the maker inside you. You need it to set unbreakable boundaries, to say “stop” exactly where it’s needed, and to make sharp, firm decisions.

But to do that effectively, your intuition and your radiance have to be turned all the way up. You have to be able to read the room, know your field, and act from a place of clarity rather than just reacting from a place of stress.

Stop trying to cool down your fire. Come to class, get on the mat, and let’s channel that heat into something that actually serves you. ⚡️🔥

Your social battery is at 0%.

We spend all day explaining ourselves, meeting gazes, and managing how we’re perceived. It is exhausting. Most “self-care” still asks you to show up and be social, which [for a burnt-out nervous system] just feels like more work.

On May 26th, we are opening a Quiet Space. This is 90 minutes where you are officially off the hook. You come in, lie down, and finally receive and rest.

This is a double-immersion of sound and energy healing. While the frequency of MataJi’s Gongs and Crystal Bowls vibrates through you, Jen provides Reiki around your crown to clear the weight you’ve been carrying. These two forces work in tandem to reset your system from the inside out.

We’re timing this for the 11th day of the Moon—a window where your body is already looking for a reason to reset. We’re just providing the silence and the frequency to make it happen.
