Pennsylvania vs Columbia Friday, January 30, 2026 07:00 PM EST

The Lions are coming off a solid road win over a middling Dartmouth squad in their most recent outing, shooting 42.1 percent from the field, 40.7 percent from beyond the arc (11-of-27), and 71.4 percent at the free-throw line. Columbia also held a 38–30 edge on the glass, though the Lions did commit 12 turnovers. Despite the win, Columbia is just 1–3 over its last four games and has allowed 69 or more points in each of those contests.

Penn, meanwhile, struggled offensively in its latest loss to Yale, shooting just 38.2 percent from the floor and 61.1 percent (11-of-18) at the line. The Quakers were outrebounded 37–26 and were outscored in the paint 42–24. Penn has managed only 123 total points across its last two games, both losses. Play Columbia.

Dayton vs St. Louis Friday, January 30, 2026 08:00 PM EST

Dayton has historically had the upper hand against Saint Louis, but it’s hard to overlook what’s happened recently. The Flyers are coming off three inexcusable losses as heavy favorites against La Salle, Saint Joseph’s, and Rhode Island, which makes backing them here a tough sell.

Given that, it’s difficult to see Dayton suddenly turning things around against a Saint Louis team that looks poised to make real noise in March. The Billikens are skilled on both ends of the floor and have the offensive firepower to create matchup problems for Dayton. I’m not stepping in front of Saint Louis while Dayton is in free fall—give me the Billikens laying the points. St. Louis

Hawai'i vs. Cal Irvine January 29, 2026 11:00 pm EDT

Hawaii has been the better team overall this season, but they’ve been below average on the road, while UC Irvine has been very strong at home. Hawaii comes in red-hot, going 11–2 over its last 13 games, and Irvine isn’t far behind, playing solid basketball at 7–2 in its last nine. I don’t see much value on either side, but the total stands out.

Both teams are a combined 12–3 to the under in their last 15 games, and that’s no surprise given the elite defense on both ends, allowing just 131.7 points per game combined. I’m expecting another low-scoring battle here—give me the under. Hawai'i vs. Cal Irvine under the total.

San Jose Sharks vs. Edmonton Oilers January 29, 2026 9:00 pm EDT

The Sharks have been playing well enough lately to warrant a look as a big underdog, but Edmonton remains a tough matchup. The Oilers can be inconsistent, yet they’re coming off two strong offensive performances, and when they’re scoring in bunches, they’re hard to slow down.

Edmonton has dominated this series, winning nine of the last ten meetings, most of which weren’t particularly close. San Jose hasn’t beaten the Oilers since November 2023. With that history and Edmonton’s offensive firepower, I’ll side with the Oilers.

Vancouver Canucks vs Anaheim Ducks January 29, 2026 10:00 pm EDT

I’m backing the Ducks in this one. While Vancouver has owned this matchup in past seasons, this version of the Canucks may be the weakest of the bunch, while this Anaheim team looks like the best we’ve seen in recent memory in this head-to-head.

Vancouver is a mess right now, and it’s hard to feel confident about where the Canucks are headed. I expect Anaheim to take care of business here and hand Vancouver another loss. Give me the Ducks. Anaheim Ducks .

Dallas Stars vs. Vegas Golden Knights January 29, 2026 10:00 pm EDT

Dallas enters this matchup having won three of its last four games, allowing two goals or fewer in three of those wins. The Stars have also been excellent away from home this season, posting a 16-7-6 road record.

Vegas, meanwhile, is just 12-7-6 at home and has dropped four of its last five games, scoring two goals or fewer in three of those losses. Continued goaltending issues remain a concern for the Golden Knights. With Dallas trending in the right direction, I’ll take the Stars on the road. Dallas.

Athletics vs Cardinals
September 3, 2025 7:45 pm EDT

The Cardinals hold a 5-3 edge in their last eight meetings with the Athletics, though the two clubs have split their last six matchups in St. Louis. The Under has also hit in five of the last seven head-to-head games.

For this Athletics vs. Cardinals matchup, St. Louis is a slight -115 home favorite. Neither pitcher inspires much confidence, but the splits tell a story: Springs owns a 3.66 ERA on the road, while Liberatore has struggled at home with a 4.55 ERA and has allowed 3+ earned runs in four straight outings. Given that, the value leans toward the road team—back the Athletics. Athletics

Atlanta Braves vs. New York Mets Prediction and Picks - August 13, 2025 Game Start: 7:10pm EST

The Mets enter the second game of this series with the Braves in the middle of a tailspin. Fortunately for them, Atlanta has been enduring a disappointing season and sits well outside the playoff picture as we head into the second week of August—making this a potential confidence boost for a struggling New York squad.

Carlos Carrasco is coming off a rough no-decision against the Marlins on Thursday, where he allowed six runs on nine hits over 5 2/3 innings. Since joining Atlanta, the right-hander has struggled, surrendering nine earned runs on 16 hits in just 11.2 innings across two starts. Adding to their woes, the Braves have dropped seven of their last 10 road games. Play on New York Mets
