Another alleged terrible act by a prominent figure in the NFL. Is this story magnified because of its close proximity to the most recent Ray Rice news? One would think Peterson would not be in this situation after the death of his child at the hands of the mother's boyfriend just last year. What should the NFL do in this situation? Is this an opportunity for Roger Goodell to prove himself as an authoritative commissioner? Or will this be the last straw for Goodell in a tumultuous season?

The International Paralympic Committee says it won't stop Oscar Pistorius from competing in 2016 09/13/2014

In the wake of the current legal issues facing NFL players Ray Rice, Greg Hardy, Ray McDonald, and Adrian Peterson, Oscar Pistorius seems to have come out relatively unscathed. The term relatively should be construed liberally in this case, as he was found guilty of "culpable homicide", however, it seems his athletic career may be salvageable despite his troubling issues in the court room.

The International Paralympic Committee says it won't stop Oscar Pistorius from competing in 2016 A spokesman for the International Paralympic Committee told the BBC Friday that if Oscar Pistorius wanted to compete in the 2016 Paralympics in Rio, the organization "wouldn't stand in his way."
