Word.
.
..
Using a drybag with your Ratsack is a game changer ποΈ
The Ratsack protects against rodents, but itβs not waterproof. A drybag keeps your food safe from rain, condensation, and morning dew while also helping contain smells. Together, they protect your food from both weather and wildlife.
Double protection = stress-free camping.

π¦ Wildlife Wednesday
Spotlight: the ringtail π¦ A nocturnal desert mammal known for its long striped tail and incredible climbing skills. They are shy but curious and often active near rocky areas. Have you ever spotted one on a night walk?
When it comes to hanging a hammock, cord > thin string π³ποΈ
Thin string can dig into the bark, cut into the treeβs protective layer, and cause long-term damage. A thicker cord (or better yet, tree straps) spreads the weight out evenly, reducing pressure and protecting the bark.
Healthier trees = better campsites for everyone. Always think Leave No Trace.

Friday at Red Rock hits different π
Clock out, set up camp, and let the desert do the rest.
Weekend mode: activated.
When thereβs no tree around, a solid rock can save your Ratsack ποΈ
Tying it to a heavy rock keeps your food off the ground, away from rodents, and from getting dragged off during the night. It also helps contain smells and protects wildlife from getting into human food. Just make sure the rock is big enough that it canβt be moved.
Smart storage = peaceful camp nights.
