A NYC deli customer was charged $8,250 for a sandwich.

The owner claims it was just an accident.

The problem? He allegedly ran the customer's card multiple times for different amounts before the charge finally went through.

At what point does an "accident" stop looking like an accident?

Always check your receipts, review your bank statements, and never assume a charge is legitimate just because it came from a real business.

It's really a blessing that fraudsters aren't usually that smart. If intelligent people were scamming more this world would be 10x with fraud than it currently is.

Insurance companies don’t total cars because they can’t be repaired. They total them when the repair costs exceed a certain percentage of what THEY think the vehicle is worth.

For classic cars, collector vehicles, and older models, that valuation can become the real battle.

But this is exactly why you should question headlines before sharing them. A typo turned a terrible nutrition fact into something that would literally be impossible to consume.

The drink isn’t healthy. The reporting was just wrong.
It’s pretty much pure poison.
