Day number last here at the Fling at Norwalk racing for the ATI Performance Products / S&T Truck Repair $65K!

We began the morning with a moment of silence for our friend Shane Molinari of S&T Truck Repair. Shane won his first national event in Pro Mod here in 2017.

Today we will crown the Mrcool DIY Direct Points Champion who will be presented with $3K, a Biondo Racing trophy shifter, and custom sign.

Racers who experience some "Hard Luck" in the re-entry round will go into a drawing for a case of Super F transmission fluid, powerglide super case with chevy bellhousing, and a flexplate from ATI!

Somebody will be presented with the Bear Boot Productions Best Appearing Car Award of the Fling at Norwalk this morning!

Wiseco Automotive is buying back 1 lucky racer into the show!

The last of the ladies remaining in competition will receive a $250 bonus courtesy of S&T Truck Repair!

The best overall package of the door car and dragster side in Round 1 will win $250 contingency to Laris Motorsports Insurance!

The 1st and 2nd best losing packages of today's $65K will receive $500 from RAD Torque Systems, Biondo Racing, FTI Performance or a set of slicks from Hoosier Racing Tire and Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels!

Congrats Gage Burch, the Strange Engineering $65K CHAMPION!

Nick Akoury from Shelby, OH parks it in the winners circle again in the BRODIX Best Package Runoff for the SR20 Cylinder Heads! He was .018 total to the -.004 redlight of Bill Balser from West Seneca, NY. Akoury also won the free Coltrin $5K Shootout on Wednesday.

Balser qualified on the door car side in his '70 Duster with a perfect run and Akoury qualified on the dragster side with a .003 package.

Meighan Schuster from Vienna, OH grabbed the Advanced Product Design $20,000 in a close final round against Mike Matty at the Summit Racing Equipment Fling at Norwalk presented by Total Seal Piston Rings at Summit Motorsports Park! Separated by just .002 on the tree, Meighan got to the stripe first by .007.

Meighan also received a $250 bonus from S&T Truck Repair as she was the last of the ladies remaining competition (before she went on to be the last driver standing)!

Bryan Sorce from Orangeville, PA was the runner-up of the Strange Engineering $65K at the Summit Racing Equipment Fling at Norwalk presented by Total Seal Piston Rings at Summit Motorsports Park after clicking it just .001 red in the final against Gage Burch.

Sorce had success at the Fling at Norwalk last year as well, winning our 2025 Race Tech Shootout.
