Fear of performing or being judged…
You don’t have to feel completely confident to share your work. Let the goal be connection and expression, alongside doing your best. 🩵
Stepping onto a stage can bring up so much: fear of making a mistake, being judged, or wondering whether you’re good enough. Even experienced performers feel nervous.
As a coach, I remind my students that performing is an opportunity to express something, connect with others, and celebrate the work they’ve put in.
Prepare. Practice. Give yourself the best chance to feel ready. Then allow yourself to be human. A shaky moment or missed transition doesn’t erase everything you bring to that stage.
Someone in the audience may connect with your story, feel your joy, or find the courage to try because they saw you show up.
Let doing your best include being present and enjoying what you’ve created. You can feel nervous and still give a meaningful performance.
Your voice, your movement, and your story deserve to be shared. ✨
