Day 2 told the real story of what the Las Vegas Raiders are trying to build in 2026.
After landing QB Fernando Mendoza at No. 1 overall on Day 1, Vegas doubled down on toughness, versatility, and trench play on Friday.
The Raiders traded down from No. 36 to No. 38 with Houston, picked up extra capital, and selected Arizona DB Treydan Stukes β a fast, versatile secondary piece who can help at safety and nickel. Reports from Raiders media and NFL analysts highlighted his range, physicality, and immediate fit in a secondary that needed depth.
In Round 3, they added Auburn EDGE Keyron Crawford at No. 67, bringing more pass-rush juice behind Maxx Crosby. Then with the extra pick acquired in the trade-down, they grabbed Texas A&M OL Trey Zuhn III at No. 91 β a versatile lineman many outlets see competing inside at guard while adding serious depth up front.
No flashy WR splash. No panic pick. Just smart football.
Defense. Pass rush. Offensive line depth.
Thatβs how real roster building happens.
Honestly? Raider Nation should like this approach.
Grade Day 2 for me ππ΄ββ οΈ
Best pick: Stukes, Crawford, or Zuhn?
