We are so excited to be welcome Kale (Kah-Lay) to our coaching team! Kale brings over 5 years of CF coaching experience, as well as over 9 years of CF athlete experience, including the past 3 as a valued member of the CFLV community. Kale has an an impressive competitive athletic background including professional baseball, being drafted by the New York Yankees. In addition to his CF coaching experience, Kale has an additional 7 years of coaching Varsity Baseball, 4 years of Varsity Football for his high school students, as well as 4 years coaching professional softball. Welcome to the team Coach, we look forward to learning all you have to share!

3 cheers for our 3rd place finishers of our Summer Nutrition Challenge!

Sam absolutely crushed these 6 weeks. His body changed so much he is now affectionately known as “Skinny Sam” and “Six pack Sam” in the 930 class. Sam lost 20lbs, and moved his belt up 2 notches. Sam’s key take away from this challenge is that he can still enjoy all the foods he loves, he just has to make good choices.

Bri was joining us for her 4th challenge with CFLV. She says that every challenge she does she continues to learn knew strategies to help her make progress on her goals. Bri shared that she has a history with disordered eating, so it’s a huge win that she feels empowered to keep moving forward without backsliding. While she has continued to lose lbs and inches she has only increased the weight on her barbell!

“New Member Monday” love today going out to James! With a busy work schedule that mainly includes graveyard shifts, James came in for 2-week trial last month looking for a program that fit his schedule and would help him get back into shape. We are thrilled to have James as a full time member now and enjoy having him in our early morning CrossFit and Hyrox classes. Welcome to the FitFam James!

Changing your body composition can be challenging, but the hardest part of our Nutrition Challenges? Picking only 6 winners! Join us for some fresh air and fitness THIS Saturday at 8am! The gym will be closed for the CFL1 coaching seminar, so we are taking the WOD to Bill Briare Park. Coach Shaun will run us through the workout, family and friends welcome to join. If you want to make a day of it, bring your splash pad and pickleball gear, and some snacks and we can be social post sweat. See you there!

Late post 😅 but we had to give it up for all of these awesome personal records achieved last month! The winner of our May PR raffle is….Frances! .rona gets $25 store credit to use on any swag, supps, or snacks CFLV sells. Congrats to Frances and to everyone who hit a personal best last month. We are looking forward to starting a new strength cycle next week and seeing many more PRs this month.

We are so proud of a of our Summer Nutrition challenges! We have some amazing transformations and results to share as we announce our winners over the next week. For now, we just wanted to say thank you to our nutrition coach and for another awesome challenge! We had a blast last month launching our Hyrox program. Classes are 7 days a week, with programming straight from Hyrox world. Whether you are training for an upcoming Hyrox race, or just looking to improve your fitness, these classes are for you. Come on in!
