so tonight i finally decided to take the step-rite out to the batting cages. it never been used/seen by other coaches/players/parents other than our small circle in our baseball academy. tonight the kids put on a show for everyone to see. everyone in the place was watching these 8 9 and 10 year old kids smashing baseballs like grown men! coaches actually stopped in the middle of their own batting practice to see what we were doing. my confidence with this product has me on cloud 9 right now believing in it more than ever. after our practice i had a coach ask me if i could demonstrate it for his group of kids. at first they were acting like i was full of pooh. but after my little 5-10 minute demonstration, you could see it on their faces that they new it would work. in sports, success leads to results. results lead to happiness, happiness results in confidence. confidence leads to success. yes its a circle. a circle that is achieved by hours of work! i learned these lessons being a pro mma/muay thai fighter for the better part of 10 years. i am a firm believer in athletes are born, but with enough practice time using proper teaching tools anyone can achieve the goals they set for themselves. think of it like this, your child can be born a math genius, but if you dont practice your skills they will go away and or be lost. raw talent is given or not given to us in our genes, the rest it up to the individual to take it to the next level.
