HONORING JOHN KENNEDY ❤️⚽️ On Sept. 30, the UNLV soccer community will come together to honor the memory of John Kennedy before the UNLV Rebel Soccer match at Peter Johann Memorial Field.

For decades, John was a longtime referee and fixture in the Las Vegas soccer community, as well as a longtime friend of both the UNLV Men’s and UNLV Women's Soccer programs. Our monthly coaches meeting is all about sharing ideas, collaborating, and continuing to improve.

This month, we reflected on our time at AFC Bournemouth Academy, introduced our new club-wide game model, and explored how to implement it across the club. ⚽

More from our week in Bournemouth! 🍒 ⚽️

Our DLVSC directors had an incredible opportunity to spend the week alongside AFC Bournemouth Academy — taking in training sessions, games, and the day-to-day environment while exchanging knowledge and ideas with the academy staff.

A week we won’t forget — and another exciting step forward in our partnership with AFC Bournemouth. 🤝

Please join us in welcoming Sam Wren and Maxime Chatiel to Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club as our U11 Gold Coaches!

Both coaches bring a passion for the game and a commitment to helping players grow both on and off the field. Sam, a former UNLV soccer player, brings valuable collegiate playing experience and insight to the program, while together, Sam and Maxime will help lead our U11 Gold players as they continue to develop, compete, and challenge themselves.

We’re excited to have them on board and can’t wait to see what’s ahead for this group! 👊

A week of learning, growth, and shared knowledge in Bournemouth. 🍒⚽️
Our DLVSC directors had the incredible opportunity to spend the week immersed in the AFC Bournemouth Academy — joining training sessions, observing games, and spending valuable time with Academy coaches and staff.
Being inside the Academy environment throughout the week gave our directors the opportunity to see the coaching methodology and player development process in action, while exchanging ideas and gaining knowledge they can bring back to our players and coaches in Las Vegas.
Hear from AFC Bournemouth Academy Head of Coaching Wayne Carlisle on what made the week so valuable.
A huge thank you to everyone at AFC Bournemouth for opening your doors and sharing your knowledge with us. We’re excited for what’s ahead and for everything this partnership will continue to bring. 🤝🌎⚽️
