It’s always kind of amazing to me how kids just go along with whatever you decide.

You pack up, change environments, travel somewhere new… and they’re okay.
Not because they understand the plan, but because you’re there.

They’re not tracking logistics.
They’re tracking presence.

And it makes me think about how often people say they would die for their kids.

But there’s something quieter than that.
Something that happens every day.

Being available.
Making space.
Actually being there while you’re still here.

Because that’s what they’re building their sense of safety around.

When kids learn yoga and meditation early, it changes the starting point.

They get familiar with their breath.
With their body.
With how to notice what they feel.

And that becomes normal.

So instead of learning how to slow down later in life…
they’ve already been there.

Instead of trying to reconnect with their body…
they never really lost that relationship.

It’s not about doing anything advanced.

It’s just small, repeated experiences of paying attention.

Over time, that builds something really steady.

And it gives them a kind of head start
that you only really understand once you’ve had to learn it later.

Staying connected to the heart and living life from there ❤️

Basic routine over hacks. It can feel like you’re missing something.

So you try new routines, new protocols, new ways to fix it.

But you still feel a bit off.

Low energy. Focus comes and goes. Your body feels tight or heavy, even though nothing is actually wrong.

A lot of the time, it’s simpler than it looks.

Sleep isn’t consistent. Water is low. You’re indoors most of the day. Movement is irregular. Too much social media. Not enough moments of silence. Lack of community.

The body responds to what you do every day, not occasionally.

So start there.

Wake and sleep at similar times. Drink enough water. Move a little. Get some early light. Meet people in real life.

Do that steadily, and things begin to organize on their own. You return to a normal human state.

Thriving and grateful.
