We are hiring! We are looking for 1) A competition climbing coach, with climbing experience, that is interested in preparing youth climbers for their upcoming regional and even national competitions! However,for those more interested in coming up with fun climbing games for kids, we are looking for 2.) A kids club and recreational team coach that has experience with kids! For both these positions we are offering a full free membership at Refuge!!

Setting for our USAC Comp and Refuge Ruckus will start on Monday, 2/9. The flat and boards will remain open all week, but once the other walls are closed for resetting, they will remain closed until comp day.

We still need volunteers to help with judging and check in! Sign up through the link in bio. All volunteers will receive a free day pass, entry to Refuge Ruckus, and shirt (as supplies last)!

Introducing our newest addition…. The Refuge Recreational Team!

Rec Team is for kids ages 8-17 who want to take their climbing to the next level. Kids will learn climbing technique and training modalities from our coaches in a structured environment. Prior experience is encouraged but not required. Rec Team will practice every Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 6:30 PM.

Refuge is hosting a USAC youth competition in the morning (stay tuned for details about volunteering for this) and a citizens’ competition on the same boulders in the evening. Registration for this opens on January 9th, so put it on your calendars and keep your eyes peeled for more information coming soon!
