Every time I chip from this spot this is what I always hear.

Your worst putt will always be better than your best chip. I’d like to debunk that theory.

I chip because for me it takes the guess work out of play. Pick a spot. Land it. Sink it. Make golf more fun and easier.

After doing this with my chipping setup, I stopped chunking and thinning chip shots.

Try this in your setup next time you practice chipping.

Grip Down = More control of the club face and forces you to stay down through the shot.

Open Stance = When chipping you don’t want to get the hands inside or you’ll get stuck. Opening the stance promotes an outside takeaway but your actually on a straight line

Lower Body Movement = It’s not a full golf swing so it’s important to keep the lower body quiet. Just focus on rocking your shoulders

Pros and Cons for practicing your chipping.

After a fun filled week of The Masters I think we can all agree Chipping and short game needs to be practiced more.

It proves you can hit it 300 plus yards but that’s the easy part considering how fast and firm some golf courses play.

Do yourself a favor and practice your chipping for 20 minutes a day and you’ll get results like this.

Masters Sunday. Golfers am I the only one.

Im down to watch The Masters on tv but I can also watch it later and skip all the things I don’t want to watch and still get 36 holes in solo.

The golf course are empty today. Who else does this.
