Finally able to post this because one of them was for my Dads 80th birthday. Thanks Mad max custom knife handles for the awesome handle scales, they were perfect for this project and went perfectly with the Damascus steel.

Just finished.. The picture doesn’t do the handle justice. 6 inch blade and 11-1/2 inches overall and a dark acid etch.

I mean, it turned out better than I thought it would. Didn’t like the shiny blade so I decided to acid wash it. Going with a black handle with a smoke fade to white/grey at the top of the handle..

So far so good! Now for the hard part of grinding in the 4 identical bevels..

It was just a matter of time before I tried something like this!
