Two Exciting Announcements!
Official 2026 Sussex Cyclists Jersey and updated logo!

Concept selected was submitted by club member Steve Klein (also of Lewes Cycle Sports). We thought Steve’s design was unique and captures the beauty of coastal Sussex County Indian River inlet bridge and Cape Henlopen. Thank you Steve!

Huge thanks go out to so many people, but special Thanks to the Redesign Committee featuring Renata Price, Edward Gross, Ilene Greenfield, Kandyce Williams, Kellie Wilson, Samuel Hammerman for their constructive and, at times, challenging (in a good way!) feedback to help make this design stay true to Sussex County Delaware and be the best it can be.

We know many of you are excited (so are we!!) but unfortunately, we are not able to open the store yet and need you to be patient a little more until the design for additional items (which starts this week) is complete.

What additional items you ask?

Spoiler alert: We will also be offering shorts, winter jacket and cycling cap!!

This is a big deal for us!

DelDOT is partnering with Delaware State Police and Sussex Cyclists to offer free bicycle safety checkpoints in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach from June through August.

Taped a segment of Coast Life today talking about Bicycle Safety and promoting the Ride of Silence. Not sure of an air date but sometime this week on WRDE at 4 PM

Today Safety Officer Jim Prettyman and myself attended the Trap Pond Family Bike Rally to talk about bicycle safety. We spoke with people and handed out safety brochures and even got to meet Lauren Hitch, co-host of WBOC Outdoors Delmarva. Thanks to event chairperson Missie Jones for the invitation
