🤠💜💛 LDC ROYALS TAKE ON THE 2026 AZ BLACK KIDS RODEO! 🐎✨

Saddle up, y’all, because the Laveen Divine Cheer Royals traded cheer shoes for cowboy boots and had an AMAZING time at the 2026 AZ Black Kids Rodeo! 🤠🐎💜

This experience was about so much more than attending a rodeo. Our athletes had the opportunity to experience Black cowboy and rodeo culture up close, hands-on, and in a way they’ll remember.

One of the highlights for us was seeing our neurodivergent athletes receive a personalized, hands-on experience that allowed them to explore, participate, and connect in a way that worked for them. Even better, that experience extended to the rest of our athletes, creating a day filled with curiosity, learning, laughter, and a whole lot of “Can we do THAT next?!” 😂🐴

From meeting the animals and learning about rodeo life to soaking up the culture and trying something completely different, our Royals were ALL IN.

And apparently, we may need to update the LDC handbook because somebody looked a little TOO comfortable in that saddle. 😂🤠 Cheerleader today… rodeo star tomorrow?!

A HUGE thank you to the AZ Black Rodeo staff for being so welcoming, patient, engaging, and intentional with our athletes. You helped turn an outing into an experience. 💛

At Laveen Divine Cheer, we believe youth development happens far beyond the cheer mat. Exposure matters. Representation matters. Culture matters. And giving our athletes opportunities to experience their community in new ways is part of The Laveen Divine Way.

On August 28, 2023, Laveen Divine Cheer began with a vision to create something that went far beyond cheerleading. Three years later, look at what we’ve built! 🥹💜

For 3 incredible years, L.D.C. has been a place where athletes can find their confidence, discover their voices, develop leadership skills, serve their community, build friendships, and learn what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Laveen Divine Cheer is excited to invite our athletes, families, friends, and supporters to one of Arizona's premier cultural events of the year—the 2026 Arizona Invitational Black Rodeo!

Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, the Arizona Invitational Black Rodeo returns Labor Day Weekend with exciting professional rodeo competition, family entertainment, educational experiences, and a celebration of the rich history and legacy of Black cowboys and cowgirls. The event is part of the nationally recognized Black Rodeo USA tour, known as "The Hottest Show on Dirt!"
