Lavonia Speedway Postpones Charlie Mize Memorial Due to Weather

Lavonia, GA — Due to a strong chance of rain this weekend, Lavonia Speedway officials, in conjunction with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, have postponed the $5,000 to win Charlie Mize Memorial scheduled for Saturday, April 25.

With the current forecast and the rising cost of fuel, officials felt it was not in the best interest of fans and teams to gamble on asking people to make the trip under such uncertain conditions.

The event will now be held on Saturday, May 30, with all divisions and event details remaining the same.

Fans are encouraged to make plans for May 30 and stay tuned to Lavonia Speedway social media for updates.
