But even in the pros, the pegs which are used in practice, don’t hold the net in position, what makes it almost impossible to train good and using the post to push off of the post or slide into it. 'Beer league' net pegs cost Finland winning goal at WWC - InGoal Magazine Rec-League goalies know the pain of inferior net pegs and posts that always come off but imagine having to deal with that at the World Championships? Noora Räty did and it cost her the winning goal against Russia.

Reto Schurch showed and used the gagoalpegs during his stay with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) and the Carolina Hurricanes. The goalies loved them so now they are keeping using them :-)
