Errol Spence's career is over, but the debate over his Hall of Fame credentials is only beginning. As far as Andre Ward is concerned, there's no debate at all.

The former two-division champion believes Spence's accomplishments – and the level of opposition he consistently faced – are more than enough to earn the former unified welterweight champion a place at Canastota.

"Yes," Ward told The Ring. "I believe he should be a Hall of Famer. ... He had a great career. He's one of the last of a dying breed who will get down with anybody. He's taken more risks after his car wreck than some guys have in their whole careers.

"I respect him deeply," Ward said. "He did everything he had to do. And now he can ride off into the sunset."
