Successful 2-1 weekend at Halloween Hitfest to wrap up fall ball for the Griddine boys

It’s tournament week! The Griddine boys head to KC for the PBR Halloween Hitfest with pool play games Friday and Saturday evening.

What a Day for YBC! Three Alumni were Selected in the 2025 MLB Draft!

YBC is proud to celebrate a milestone moment as three of our alumni were selected in the 2025 MLB Amateur Player Draft!

Riely Hunsaker (Class of 2021) was picked by the Chicago Cubs in the 16th round on Monday. The hard-throwing right-hander had a standout season at Lamar University, starting 14 games and posting an impressive 2.47 ERA over 76 ⅔ innings pitched.

We couldn’t be prouder of Riely’s growth and accomplishments, and we can’t wait to watch him take the mound at the next level.
