The Lawrence Trail Hawks, founded in April 2009 by Lawrence area trail and ultra runners, will run on, promote and care for the Lawrence trails, including the Kansas River Trails and the Clinton Lake North Shore Trails.

Gal Gallop: Tonight, Shari will be leading the way at the River Trails! Meet at the upper parking lot at 6:30pm. Bring a light and enjoy the beautiful trails and crunchy leaves!

Gal Gallop: After a week off, we are back at the River Trails for a run! Bring a light and meet us at the upper parking lot at 6:30pm!

Gal Gallop: Tonight will be a beautiful night for a run! It is the time of year when you will need a light. We will meet at the upper parking lot at 6:30pm. Bring a chair and a drink to hang afterwards.

Gal Gallop: Tonight will probably be a soggy run on Levee, but that'll still be better than no run! We will meet at the upper parking lot of the River Trails at 6:30pm. I will update around 5pm if the weather looks too bad.

The weather is wonderful, so please join us for the Monday Night Beginners Run (MNBR) tonight (9/28/26). We congregate in the upper parking lot of the Kansas River Trails off of 8th and Oak in North Lawrence at 6:30 PM. 4-5 miles at a conversational pace. Some weather appropriate treat (c***r?) to share afterwards. Unfortunately, urbantrailco reports that the trails are still too wet after the recent rain, so we'll be on the levee tonight.

Tonight (9/21/26) will be a lovely evening to join the Monday Night Beginners Run (MNBR) at the Kansas River Trails off of 8th and Oak in North Lawrence at 6:30 PM. 4-5 miles at a conversational pace. I'm not sure if I'll bring freeze pops or if it is c***r season, so you'll have to show up to see.

Gal Gallop: After a week off for Hawk prep, we are back it! Urban Trail Co. says that the upper trail is good to go, so we will try that out, but may have to hit the Levee. Also, now that we have passed the Hawk that means we need to start thinking about bringing lights. We'll meet at the upper parking lot of the River Trails at 6:30 pm.

Gal Gallop: Join us for a H-O-T run tonight on the River Trails. Expect a humane pace as we try to stay cool. We will meet in the upper parking lot at 6:30pm. Bring bug spray, a chair and a drink to hang afterwards.

It will be very hot, but nothing stops the Monday Night Beginners Run (MNBR). Not even forgetting to create a post to advertise it would stop people from showing up. (This happened last week!) Join us at the Kansas River Trails off of 8th and Oak in North Lawrence at 6:30 PM today, August 31, 2026. 4-5 miles at a conversational pace. Bring water and bug spray. I restocked my freeze pop supply so we are ready for the heat!
