Eagle Bend Golf Course will be closed Tuesday, September 15, through Thursday, September 17, while staff complete the course’s annual fall aeration of the putting greens.

Aeration is an important part of maintaining healthy turf and quality playing conditions. The process helps relieve soil compaction, improve air and water movement, and promote strong root growth for the season ahead.

The golf course will reopen for regular play once the work is complete.

🏌️ The Eagle Bend driving range will remain open during the closure, so golfers can still stop by to practice their swing!

☔Due to approximately 3 inches of rain overnight, there is significant flooding at Eagle Bend Golf Course, 1250 East 902 Road.

The course will be closed this morning, Friday, July 31, 2026.

At this time, we plan to reopen at 2 p.m. this afternoon, weather and course conditions permitting.

We received nearly another 2 inches of rain overnight, and due to continued wet conditions, Eagle Bend Golf Course will be closed this morning.

Our team will continue to monitor course conditions and work to manage standing water. We’ll provide another update later today to let everyone know whether an afternoon opening is possible.

Due to the rainfall we received over the weekend, Eagle Bend Golf Course is currently experiencing flooding in some areas. To allow our team time to clear water and assess course conditions, we will be closed for the remainder of the day on Monday, June 8.

Eagle Bend Golf Course & Learning Center will be closed Monday, Dec. 8, due to Evergy upgrading our electrical service, causing us to be without electricity the majority of the the day.

We will reopen on Tuesday, Dec. 9, and hope you join us to Play Around the Bend!
