A beautiful Mother’s Day spent in Boston with my family, my heart is so full 💐💗
On Mother’s Day, I don’t just celebrate being a mom, I celebrate the beautiful girl who gave me that title.
You made me a mom during one of the hardest seasons of my life, and in ways you’ll probably never fully understand, you gave my life new meaning, purpose, and the kind of love that made me want to keep going.
You are my deepest love, my biggest worry, my patience tester, my soft spot, and the part of my heart that walks outside of me every day. Being your mom has been the most beautiful, scary, challenging, and meaningful thing I’ve ever experienced.
Watching you grow through every age and every stage has been the greatest gift of my life. Even on my hardest days, you remind me what truly matters. I love you forever, my baby 🤍✨.

For this Bulgarian split squat variation, make sure your front foot is secure on the reverse hack squat machine before you start. Place the foam roller across your traps for better support and to help change the angle of the movement.
That slight forward lean as you come down helps make the exercise more glute-focused instead of making it all about the quads. 🍑
This one is definitely tough, so having your gym bestie there to help guide you and give you a little support as you drive back up is a must. 👯♀️🔥

BB Hip Thrust Breakdown:
Start with your barbell hip thrusts, focusing on control, full lockout, and squeezing your glutes hard at the top. After your reps, stay at the top and go into 7 double-banded abductions — push your knees out against the band twice for each rep. Then finish with 7 double pulses + double abductions — two small pulses at the top while pushing the knees out twice. This is going to wake up the glutes, especially the upper and side b***y, without going crazy heavy right away. Keep your chin tucked, ribs down, core tight, and squeeze your glutes instead of arching your lower back.

1️⃣ Smith Machine Wide-Stance Squats (Glute Focus)
Progressive overload:
• 15 reps
• 12 reps
• 10 reps
• 8 reps
(Weight increased each set)
2️⃣ Barbell Hip Thrusts w/ Pulse
• 10 reps + pulses at the top
B***y Cave finisher 😮💨
3️⃣ Smith Machine Gliding Reverse Lunges
• 3 rounds × 10 reps each side
Slow, controlled, front heel heavy.
4️⃣ Cable Bench Kickbacks
• 3 rounds × 20–15 reps
Squeeze every rep, no rushing.
5️⃣ Cable Fire Hydrants
• 3 rounds × 20–15 reps
Side glutes burning 🔥
6️⃣ Reverse Hypers
• 3 rounds × 20–15 reps
Control the swing, pause at the top.

Celi is one of those people who just comes in and gets it done, no matter how she feels. She’s not flashy, she’s not loud about it, and she doesn’t put it all out there. She just shows up. Every week. That’s the work being done.
What makes this even more special is that before training with me, she had never worked out and had never stepped foot in a gym. The B***y Cave is the only gym she’s ever known….so yeah, I kinda took her gym virginity 🤭
She’s been training with me for over two years now, coming in three times a week, two lower days and one upper and her consistency speaks for itself. The girls always say it in class… “that strong girl.” The one everyone admires for her work ethic, the one who never misses.
When she first started, food wasn’t really something she paid attention to, she ate whatever was convenient without much awareness around nutrition. Now she’s far more mindful, understands the benefits of fueling her body, and we’re working toward eating in a surplus more consistently. Some weeks are great, some weeks are harder, and she still tends to under-eat at times, but she’s learning and staying consistent through it all.
And somewhere along the way, the confidence levels up. The gains come in. The cute gym fits start showing up. When your gains come in, everything else rises with it and training just becomes even more fun.
This is what consistency does.
