Circle P Ropes N Strokes Ropes N Strokes is a western-style competition that combines an 18-hole two-man golf scramble followed by a team roping — using the same teams for both events.

🏌️🤠 What an incredible day at our 2026 Ropes N Strokes! 🤠🏌️

We truly had the best day! We decided to switch things up this year and rope first and golf second because of the questionable weather. As it turned out, Mother Nature cooperated, and we only caught a little rain while we were at the golf course!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, competed, supported the event, and helped make the day such a success. The friendly competition, laughs, and fellowship made for an unforgettable event, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!

The second-place teams split the prize money four ways giving them $210/man. To determine who would take home the Bluetooth speakers, we added together each team’s times from Round 1, Round 2, and Golf.

⛳️ Closest to the hole went to Matt Legan paying $240 💰

⛳️ Jess Legan and JML Arena also made sure everyone had a super nice Ropes N Strokes golf towel!

🐮 No on caught the Bill Collins Bounty steer so we added that money into the pot.

📢 Official Update – Ropes N Strokes 2026

While we hated having to postpone our event but we’re convinced it was the right decision! Mother Nature dropped over 4 inches of rain between Friday and Saturday of our original event weekend. 🌧️⛳🤠

The new official date for the 2026 Ropes N Strokes is:

📅 Saturday, August 1st

We’re looking forward to a great day of golf, roping, fellowship, and fun—and we can’t wait to see everyone there! We have spots open - if you want to get in on the fun - contact Brent Peterson or I!

🏆 We also wanted to give you a sneak peek at what our Average Winners will receive. Thanks to the generosity of Circle P Wellness & Therapy, our Average Winners will each receive one of these beautiful custom 2026 Ropes N Strokes Champion flasks. They turned out incredible!

Thank you all for your understanding and flexibility with the date change. We truly appreciate your support and can’t wait to make August 1st an unforgettable day!

🌧️ ROPES N STROKES UPDATE 🌧️

After closely watching the forecast and considering the safety of everyone involved, we have made the difficult decision to RESCHEDULE this Saturday’s Ropes N Strokes event due to the weather. Darn you Mother Nature!!

We were really looking forward to a great day of golf, roping, and fellowship, and we’re just as disappointed as you are.

We have tentatively rescheduled the event for Saturday, August 1. We will share additional details and confirm the new date as soon as possible.

Thank you to all of our contestants, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters for your understanding and continued support. We truly appreciate each and every one of you, and we can’t wait to see everyone on August 1! 🤠⛳️

Still time to get your team in!

This year we have some added money and prizes!! We have been working hard on making this bigger and better since last year!  I will be listing those next week.

I understand there are a couple of other events happening on the same weekend, but we are using the same weekend we did last year when nothing else was going on and we had to reserve the golf course several months ago before anyone else had listed their event.

It’s going to be a great weekend with lots of fun and laughter! We look forward to sharing it with those who will be there!
