We’ve got two TDA girlies in NC this morning at what we thought was a competition… but it is not 🤣😅🤪 so we have one in ultimate experience this morning, one in classes this morning… then this afternoon they switch!!

Lord, as these girls head out to represent our studio this weekend at our FIRST optional competition of our NEW season in our FIFTIETH year in business and my TENTH year owning… give them grace, encouragement, health, and a whole lot of happy.

Allow us this year to remember why we dance in the first place. Help us to represent bigger, larger, and more in line with our goals and values than ever before.

ADVANCED ACRO NIGHT AT TDA 🚨

Listen… EVERYBODY gets bored on nights and periods we’re ONLY doing skills and drills…

Me included

But the boring, disciplined nights where not one trick is performed is WHY we can have powerhouse nights like these. As soon as that switch starts flashing I turn it on. AS SOON as they’re ready to put all the muscle groups and brain power we’ve been conditioning and training to a new trick… the night looks like this 💁🏽‍♀️

So to all my DSO’s out there feeling the pressure of getting your kids to the next level… keep working the basics. Keep drilling the drills. Try to make it as less boring as possible lol but it’s still gonna hit like that…

YOU KNOW you’ll have less if not zero injury and your dancer will be able to hold their own on magic night ✨

I AM THE ACTUAL QUEEN of slow and steady with my Acro program. I have never rushed a trick except with Lacie lol…. And I have a STRONG Acro program and STRONG Acro dancers who RARELY need a spot…. The way it’s supposed to be 🩷

Do the boring drills. Lean in to the slow and steady. You’re in it for the long haul, NOT the sprint.

And to my TDA babies who have been with me forever and those who are newer… rock on my superstars 🫶🏼 ✨ Thanks for making my job the greatest 🩷
