25 years ago today, Sensei Swingle was still living in Japan. Watching the horrific events unfold that Sat evening (Japan time) on his 4gb Toshiba laptop and then TV was unreal for him and his wife. The country and world came together in the days that followed. So much has changed since then, but for those of us who remember, we remember the sacrifices and the good, as well as the bad. Hopefully our country and the world can once again focus on coming together, rather than wedging everyone apart. A somber day, but we then have regular Sparring sessions tonight and our 4 regular classes tomorrow morning!

We’re not really into “tricks” and flash at our school, and instead focus on:
- Small class size, so everyone gets individual attention, help and challenges from Shihan and the team.
- Practical techniques and drills to develop self-defense, sparring and confidence.
- 3-5 classes per week, to better fit your Schedule and allow for faster progress.
- Safety and self-control (although our advanced students can safely move pretty realistically) with partners - crazy if you like on targets!

This 10 second clip is a simple freestyle drill from Tuesday, where a partner comes at you with any punches and you do whatever you like (we also did kicks and grabs).
