This Memorial Day weekend, our girls are stepping onto the field with grateful hearts, fierce determination, and alllll of the softball spirit!

As we compete, we also pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. ❤️🤍💙

These girls are ready to battle inning by inning, cheer each other on, and make more memories together.

🥎 TOURNAMENT TIME 🥎

This weekend, the Southern Storm girls are heading to SC to hit the field while celebrating the Moms (and the grandmas, aunts, and all those who fill the "Mom" role) who spend countless hours at the ballfield, cheer the loudest, pack the snacks, calm the nerves, and support every win and lesson along the way.

None of this is possible without them. 💐💐💐

Here’s to a day full of strong swings, great memories, and honoring the amazing women behind our athletes. 🧡⚡💜

🏆 TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS 🏆

The girls showed up to PLAY on Saturday. Putting up 44 runs in 4 games, with some hard-fought battles, they let their bats and gloves do their thing. 🔥💪⚡

And they came home with the ring!

The way these girls show up and encourage each other to do their best is amazing. Nothing can stop the Storm! 💜🥎🧡

All the girls had a great time playing in their first 10u game! 💜⚡🧡

It's always a great time when the sun is shining and you get to play with your friends 🥎🥎🥎

⭐ GOLD BRACKET RUNNER UP ⭐

The girls showed up this weekend and fought hard, all the way to the Gold bracket championship. Although they came up a bit short of the champion title, they certainly showed their stellar power and teamwork.

Every game had its fair share of amazing plays but a few special highlights:

💪 Mila and Rylee - each hit a home run and had a combined 15 RBIs! ⚡ HOME RUN CHAIN!

💪 Indie - went 11 for 13 on the day (‼️) with 10 RBIs earning her an MVP award!

💪 Gemma - strong defensive work at both infield and outfield earning her an MVP award! 🎉

Not to mention, the team put up an incredible 94 hits!!!!

More shout outs:

Caroline ➡️ went 9 for 12 on the day with 7 big RBIs

Saoirse ➡️ snagged several pop ups in the infield and went 7 for 11

Isa ➡️ drove in 5 RBIs in one game and laid out to snag a foul pop up behind the plate

Ayako, Luna ➡️ dominated the outfield and came up with clutch hits every game

Keira, Milly, Jaydyn, AK ➡️ outstanding infield work and a combined 30 hits

Until the next tournament, the girls are back on the field getting ready.
