🦅💛🖤 LBXC JUNIOR HIGH — GRIT, HEART & DETERMINATION! 🖤💛🦅

The Lawton-Bronson Junior High Eagles hit the course with a short-handed squad, with several athletes out of the lineup and many of our runners balancing XC with football and volleyball.

But when the Eagles had an opportunity to compete… THEY SHOWED UP! 💪🔥

Rayna came through with a runner-up finish, while Leighton, Haley and Zoe all battled to personal bests! Maggie also put together a strong season-best performance.

🦅💛 LAWTON-BRONSON GIRLS BRING HOME 2ND PLACE! 💛🖤

WHAT A RACE for the LBXC girls! The Eagles traveled to Moville and battled from start to finish and came away with an outstanding 🥈 2ND-PLACE TEAM FINISH! 🔥

Leading the charge was Hannah Baker, who blasted across the finish line in 3rd place overall with a 20:42.2 PERSONAL BEST! 🚀👏 What a race from our 8th grader!

⭐ Aubree O’Brien — 17th place, 24:27.2 SEASON BEST!

Week 5 Runner of the Week
Natalie McKenna
Natalie is involved in as many things as one person could possibly handle. She gives 100% to everything she patlrticipates in. She has put in so much work for this XC season and it is paying off. She is a LBXC Captain and leads the athletes and sometimes even the coaches. She is such a great motivator and leader of this team. Well deserved.

🦅💛 LBXC GIRLS SHINE AT THE TIM Thomas XC Classic! 🖤🦅

🏆 Varsity Girls 5K

The Eagle girls put together another gritty performance against a loaded Class B field, led by an incredible run from 8th grader Hannah Baker!

🔥 Hannah Baker soared to a 6th-place finish overall in a field of nearly 150 runners, clocking a blazing 20:51.2 and earning a spot among the meet’s elite runners!

The Eagles packed runners well throughout the race:
⭐ Natalie McKenna – 20th place – 22:18.7
⭐ Kaylee Mesz – 39th place – 23:10.3
⭐ Aubrey O’Brien – 99th place – 25:34.3
⭐ Kali Copple – 125th place – 27:37.5

The Eagles hit the course Saturday and showed grit, toughness, and determination from the first step to the finish line! 🖤💛

🏆 VARSITY BOYS — 5000M

Leading the Eagles was senior Zack Adams, charging to an impressive 35th place in 18:40.0!

🔥 Wesley Benson followed just 2 spots back, finishing 37th in 18:42.5!

💪 Ethan Buffington battled through the field to finish 61st in 19:44.0.

⚡ Talon Fitch kept the pressure on, finishing 64th in 19:53.5.

🏃‍♂️ Xavier Boatman crossed in 71st at 20:11.4.

🔥 Cohen Howard finished strong in 74th with a 20:15.2.

💥 Lucas Patelski pushed until the end with a 21:14
