🙏 For those of you who missed it, Championship Pro Rodeo helped honor cowboy Dylan Grant. Young Dylan, from the state of Wyoming, was scheduled to compete at the Lawton Xtreme Bulls. It was decided that he would be the last cowboy to ride the bull Yelawolf, and last Saturday night in Lawton, OK, we turned the bull loose one final time in Dylan's honor. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family—deepest condolences from Lawton Xtreme Bulls.

In 2021, while also competing for the University of Wyoming rodeo team, he won the bull riding title at the Mountain States Circuit Finals Rodeo with 169.5 points on two head. He won Round 3 at the MSCFR in Loveland, Colo., that year with an 86.5-point ride on The Cervi Brothers' Classic Equine Bad Memory.

Grant first obtained his PRCA permit on May 1, 2018, and then bought his PRCA card on Feb. 14, 2024. He has competed in multiple PRORODEO and Xtreme Bulls events throughout his career.

On Thursday night the hearts of the rodeo community were shattered across the country at the final ride of cowboy Dylan Grant. We were supposed to get to see him last night at Lawton Xtreme Bulls, and fate intervened, and it just doesn’t seem fair. We decided in honor of our young pal that he will be the last cowboy to ever draw the great Yelawolf and last night we turned him out in Dylan’s honor one final time. Please continue to wrap the rodeo family and Dylan’s friends and family in all the prayer and love you can muster. We all know the risk, and at the end of the day we just love the ride. 🪽
