Member Highlight!

There are athletes who win matches, and then there are athletes who leave a lasting impact on everyone around them. We are so proud to celebrate one of our very own, Christina Guerrero! She is the recipient of the Cecil Powell Award, the highest honor an EHS athlete can receive.

This award is presented to the athlete who best represents dependability, responsibility, leadership, and character. Anyone who knows Tina knows how deeply deserving she is of this recognition. Her dedication, resilience, work ethic, and heart have meant so much to Eisenhower athletics and especially to the wrestling family who have had the privilege of watching her grow and lead.

Christina, thank you for the countless ways you have represented EHS with strength, humility, and pride. The impact you’ve made reaches far beyond wins and accomplishments. You have inspired teammates, coaches, and everyone lucky enough to know you.

We could not be more proud of you and all that you have achieved. Congratulations on this incredible honor!

Fun fact: Southwest has 4 gyms in one. Our 3rd room is often used for lifters who like to be off the busy main floor and get their workouts done without distractions.

New Gym Equipment. This angled row puts you in a strong pull position and the adjustment footplate lets you get a deeper stretch. Back pad keeps you stable so your lower back isn’t doing all the work. Multiple grips so you can hit lats, mid-back, and rear delts.
