Congratulations to Zach Leshikar for winning last weeks Monday night PoBoy sweeper. Zach had just won his 3rd PBA regional title in San Antonio but still found time to stop by and participate with the local gang. On the left, Armour Brown, having a great night including a 279 the prior match, ran out of steam in the Championship Match taking home 2nd place money. Tonight is the final night of regular PoBoy starting at 7pm sharp. Aug 3rd will end this summers run in which bowlers must have participated in at least four events. Hope to see you tonight. A big shout out to Steve Neher who stopped by Thunderbird Lanes today to participate in our weekly Senior Colorama Sweeper. I think Steve’s goal was to get a couple games practice before the Senior City Top Average Tournament this Sunday. Yes our sweeper is NoTap, but Steve ripped off games of 300-300-300 for a 900 series. Best part of it was Game 2 with 12 natural strikes for the real deal. Congratulations Steve and I think you’re ready for Sunday.

John Henderson survived a couple close calls last Monday to claim his second PoBoy title of the summer. John edged out Steve Seymour, Noel Gordon and Jaeden Ellis before defeating Willie String for the title. Congratulations. PoBoy #6 starts at 7pm tonight. Congratulations to Sean Rietcheck for winning back to back Monday night PoBoy Events. This time Sean had to out dual Ty Smith, Jason Romeiser, Lee Brown and finally Sam Bowman to grab the title and cash. Sam Bowman at age 80 gave it a good run but tired out on game 6 championship. Congratulations last week to Sean Rietcheck who went the distance ousting Nate Baggett, Tim Briscoe, Sean Johnson and Anita Fishbeck in the championship match 239-218, handicap included. Congratulations Sean and a great run for Anita Fishbeck off her 135 average. All you have to do is have a good evening of bowling and you may be the one taking home the cash this week. Please be here early. We missed filling up 55 of 56 by one person last week. Don’t get left out. 56 max.

On the left side Mark Hill outlasted the field last Monday to win PoBoy #2 for the Summer of ‘26. Mark defeated Armour Brown, on the right, 222-185 in the Championship match. Scores were a tad lower last week with the Top 16 match play cut at 421 for the 2 games/with hdcp. to qualify. We will be at it again tonight. We are already at the lanes taking entries.
