Dressage, roads and tracks, steeplechase, cross country and show jumping...the Classic Three-day format is alive and well in the heart of Area II eventing! The event goes beyond pure competition, offering unparalleled educational opportunities for competitors. Top level eventers like Stephen Bradley, Karen O'Connor, Sharon White, Phyllis Dawson, Natalie Hollis, Steuart Pittman, Melissa Hunsberger, Tremaine Cooper and Colleen Rutledge are present throughout the weekend, hosting seminars and course walks open to competitors, grooms, support crew and the like. Daily dinners help to foster a supportive, friendly an fun atmosphere for all! The three-day relies on volunteers and sponsors to stay up and running! Volunteers are supplied with meals, access to the experts and can earn "Waredaca Bucks" to be applied to anything Waredaca offers including lessons, cross country schooling, entry fees and more! Our competitors rocked endurance day at the Waredaca Classic today with great riding, great horsemanship, and supporting each other throughout the day.

The Classic wraps up tomorrow with the final horse inspection & show jumping!

Dressage day at the 2026 Waredaca Classic Three-Day! All the competitors looked great in the first phase of the Classic.

After dressage, everyone practiced steeplechase & got to hack roads & tracks in preparation for endurance day. The first horse starts Endurance day at 8AM tomorrow 🌟

It was a beautiful day at the Classic & riders were busy with dressage demonstration & education with the judges & cross country walks with lead clinician Stephen Bradley.

This afternoon all competitors presented their horses at the first horse inspection. Everyone looked fantastic & all horses were accepted ✨✨✨

The competition begins at 8AM tomorrow with dressage - Good Luck to all!!!

Message board for schedule, announcements, times, results etc. is posted in stabling in front of barn 2.

Sign up for the Waredaca Classic WhatsApp Group. The QR code is posted on the message board in stabling.

Read the schedule! Schedule is pinned on the WhatsApp Group.

Bring a chair to the dressage education session, Thursday dinner and Friday Beverage & Cheese.

Let Chris Donovan know if you have a specific team. Otherwise Chris will make up teams; everyone will be on a team unless you opt out.

Let Suzy Gehris know if you do not plan to do steeplechase practice.

Parking/traffic: Everyone needs to park behind barn; should display parking pass in vehicle. Depending on how well everyone parks Thursday/Friday, additional parking passes may be distributed for Saturday/Sunday. No parking in gravel lot at the front of the stabling are.

No driving on the farm, to get between stabling & trailer parking need to go out via the road and around.

Riding/Hacking: Use middle of steeplechase track for riding. Do not ride on Steeplechase track. Do not ride on paved road past the Brewery, use the fields behind the Brewery to reach the competition arenas.

Jog/horse inspection: will run in numerical order; plan on about 1 minute per horse.

Cross country course walk will have time at the end in the 10 minute box to ask questions. There will also be time for questions regarding endurance day at the Friday evening session and during barn "office" hours (see schedule).

Remember, this is an education focused competition. Take advantage of the course walks and presentations. Also do not hesitate to ask questions. The officials and committee members are here to help you get through the finish flags on Sunday!

It’s arrival day at the Classic! Everyone is getting settled in & ready for the competition.

The Welcome Briefing will start at 5:30 at the Brewery. A summary of the briefing will posted on Facebook & in the Classic WhatsApp group.

Tomorrow our competitors begin arriving for the 2026 Waredaca Classic Three-Day and one of the first officials they will meet is our wonderful veterinarian, Dr. Chad Davis.

Dr. Chad makes sure all horses competing in the Classic are healthy and happy beginning with the in barn inspections and throughout the competition. Dr. Chad will also be contributing to the riders' happiness with his generous sponsorship of the Friday evening w**e, b**r, and cheese social.

Many thanks to Dr. Chad for his care of our 4-legged and 2-legged competitors and his long-time support of the Waredaca Classic Three-Day!

We are sorry to announce that Sharon White will not be joining us this year as lead clinician. However, we are VERY happy to announce that Stephen Bradley will be our 2026 lead clinician for the Waredaca Classica Three-Day!

Stephen is an advanced level event rider, Olympian, and winner of the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials (the long format!). Aside from being a top level eventing competitor, Stephen is also an outstanding horseman, instructor, and a long-time supporter of the Waredaca Classic Three-Day Event.
