Curious kids and teens might be tempted to take a dip, but ponds and bayous can hide dangerous hazards. These waters are not meant for recreational swimming. They're often unclean and have unpredictable water levels, posing sudden drowning risks. For more water safety tips, visit ymcahouston.org/drowning-elimination.
