🥳💕 Strong women, good vibes, and birthday celebrations on the mats! 🥋🎂

One of my favorite things about women’s jiu-jitsu is that it’s about so much more than learning submissions, escapes, and how to choke each other out. 😂

It’s about building confidence, finding strength you didn’t know you had, pushing past your comfort zone, and surrounding yourself with women who genuinely cheer each other on.

We come from different backgrounds, different ages, and different walks of life, but when we step onto those mats, we’re a team. We challenge each other, laugh together, celebrate victories big and small, and sometimes just enjoy being a little ridiculous together! 💪💗

Tonight we got to celebrate one of our own! 🎉 Happy Birthday to our jiu-jitsu sister! We’re so glad you’re part of this crew!

Strong women lift each other up… and occasionally take each other down! 😉🥋💕

Stay safe. Have good weekend.

Just a bunch of sweet, innocent ladies who definitely don’t spend their evenings trying to choke each other. 🥰😂

Women’s Jiu-Jitsu: come for the rolls, stay for the friendships… and maybe a few questionable life choices. 🤼‍♀️💪

Live. Laugh. Choke. 💕

That means whatever the instructor wants to teach. A random sampling of techniques based on the coach’s observations or whimsy.

I am constantly being told that I need to up my output on social media. The woman’s class posts the most content, yet they are the newest program. (They are thriving by the way). But we have robust, well established classes. Case in point, here is one of our 10 weekly kids classes practicing our takedown of the week.

I’m supposed to post “Just a bunch of women supporting women… literally.” But I think this looks like the Rockettes meet Street Fighter. The women’s class… getting after while having fun🥋😂
Come train with them. 💪❤️. Who let Coach post to instagram unsupervised?

Jumping on the ’80s trend because apparently girls just wanna have fun… but jiu-jitsu girls just wanna choke. 💕🥋
