Good evening, Super Shane here!

I just wanted to extend to what Aaron D posted and send a huge personal THANK YOU to everyone who came out yesterday to help dry the track and get it race-ready. With all the rain we received, your hard work helped us give the drivers the best racing surface we possibly could.

In honor of America 250 I felt like that’s how many laps I made in my truck. Then I found myself in The Great Battle of Sleeper Hollow: Super Shane vs. The Weepers. 😆 burning through gallons of fuel with a backpack blower, and getting a healthy sunburn for my efforts, I can officially report… the weepers are undefeated. 😂

A big thank you as well to our track crew and the Rural Fire Department for jumping into the battle during the races. We gave those weepers everything we had.

Seriously though, thank you to everyone who pitched in and to the entire I-44 staff for all the behind-the-scenes work that often goes unnoticed. It truly takes a village to put on a race night, and we’re grateful for every single person who gives their time and effort to make it happen.

We couldn’t do it without you. Thank you all! 🏁
