WANTED - Golf Course Starters and Rangers for 2022 Golf Season
Pay is $7-$8 per hour, but it is at least paid. This is the perfect job for someone looking to play golf for free, and at a great course at that! We ask for 2 - 3 shifts per week. Some lifting is required when washing range balls and carrying golf bags at the bag drop. Running the tee sheet, washing carts, some range picking, some course ranger duties, filling divots with sand, fixing ball marks, filling water coolers.

Essential Responsibilities
Employee will report to the PGA Director of Golf. All Pro Shop duties will include member and guest registration / check in, booking tee times and managing daily tee sheet, answering phone calls to book tee times and take messages, Pro Shop merchandise sales, keeping the shop clean and organized, assisting with Cart Fleet or the Starter as needed.
Good personal skills and computer skills are a MUST.
High level of customer satisfaction is expected.
Ability to multi-task with phone calls, money, and computer is also a must.
The main function of this job is cashiering and doing counter time with check-ins and merchandise sales. This is a range of 15 - 40 hours per week during golf season, depending on schedule. Snow Tubing season will be similar. Weekends and evenings are required for each season. Shop typically closes between 5 and 6 PM on non-golf outing days.
An ideal candidate would be a college age person who is local year round, someone transitioning from graduating college to a career job, someone doing online learning. There will be plenty of opportunity to “do your school work” in less busy time frames while you are on the clock working. The work environment is indoors, very low stress, and flexible.
A recently retired school administrator, athletic director, or teacher with computer and people interaction skills would also do very well with this position. This is a very flexible position with access to one of the best courses in the area. Our retired staff of starters and rangers play golf weekly, sometimes multiple times a week together.
This is a year round position and will work while Iron Valley Snow Tubing is operational during the winter months!

The Iron Valley Golf Club located in the beautiful Cornwall Borough of Lebanon County quite desperately needs kitchen help/line cooks. Golfers are some of the easiest, least demanding customers that one will ever find in the Food and Beverage business. Is the Burger done, is the Beer cold? Answer those two questions correctly and you will have made 98% of all golfers happy!
If you have the proper work ethic and show up on a regular basis - we will gladly train you on how to be our new Line Cook. If you keep improving, we will keep paying you more. It really is quite simple!
The pay range for this position is from $15 to $22/hour depending on your overall experience.

We have been busy all winter long making this already excellent golf course even better. The mild winter weather has been very kind to our Superintendent and his team. This season; you will find improved cart paths! You won’t find any tree stumps from last winter’s extensive “tree work”! And now most importantly, you will now find a clear shot to the Green from the FAIRway on #14. See the sequence pictured– it was a good sound when those overhanging branches hit the ground! 😎
