Our Story

The Jorge Gurgel MMA Academy promotes active healthy lifestyles through training in various Mixed Martial Arts such as Muay Thai Kickboxing, Western Boxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. By combining a strong emphasis on the technical aspects of MMA with cardiovascular and fitness conditioning, JGMMA Academy provides a friendly and professional training environment for all ages, genders and skill levels. Mixed Martial Arts for KIDS: We've always believed that professional martial arts training, especially Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training, is a great cure to the bully epidemic that we've seen flaring up in recent years especially as it instills so much discipline. Many parents are finally jumping on the bandwagon and enrolling their children in BJJ.
