Competitive Edge Eager to Develop Young Talent with 4 New Athletes
Team Competitive Edge and their Presley-Rudolph coaching staff are proud to introduce four new members to their squad and bolster their roster in the 13 and under boys division. All of these athletes were recruited for their work ethic, character, and exceptional potential to succeed as they grow within the sport.
Reed Plourde, 12, of Orlando, Florida is a k**a specialist who started martial arts when he was just five years old. He has 5 NASKA top ten finishes from 2022 and 2023, in addition to multiple awards from ProMAC and USA Sport Karate.
James Potter, 9, of Trussville, Alabama comes from a family of martial artists and started training at the age of three. He has already made a name for himself with multiple NASKA grand championship appearances at the black belt level. Since his career began in 2021, he has won multiple underbelt grand championships and national champion honors on ProMAC and NASKA.
Thomas and Francis are the nephews of Competitive Edge Captain Phillip Brumme, and they are just the second and third underbelts to ever be recruited to the team. Both of these young warriors made a fantastic early impression on the CE coaches. Thomas won a mini Warrior Cup in Chicago with his extreme form and Francis won his first grand championship at The League Grand Prix earlier this year.
Please join us in congratulating these individuals who will be the future of Competitive Edge. We are proud for them to join the family!
